We crossed the border into Canada on Friday night, signaling our first day spent in somewhere other than Idaho 😀. The “Man” at the border hut forced us to dump all of our premium American firewood, but we made it into the country otherwise unscathed. We spent our first night in-country at a BC Provincial Park. We gorged ourselves on fresh produce we bought from the Lantz Family roadside stand (“honour system”), along with imported red Toscano wine and homemade Venetian risotto. We cashed in our strong American dollars for Canadian Monopoly money as we received our very first derogatory Trump comment from the Australian guy working for the Canadian Provincial Park Service. We thanked him for his perspective, and then we went to sleep.

Sweet! I’ll be in B. C. Canada next Tuesday through Thursday. I’ll be sure as to not bring any firewood.
    Sounds like a blast!

Hey Vondel! Bring warm clothing, it’s cold up there. Travel safe!
